Wooohooo, new year and stuff...
Hi guys,
you might have noticed, the old year is gone, a new one's on the run. Time to be excited of what will come, I guess! Any New Year's Pledges around? I personally don't like those, so... I don't have any, but maybe it's time to grow a pineapple for some of you! ^^ ... spread some love and such, I mean... *coughs*
Some of you might have wondered: "Why pineapples?"
I can't quite understand how anyone can question this. I mean... look at them! They are Pineapply Godliness! They are sweet, which most of us like. They taste like holidays on a far away island, which is kinda a good thing, too. And on top of that, they make you feel warm and cozy and stuff. With ice cream at least.
I'm sure if people around the world ate more pineapple, the world might be a better place. I mean, really. Food you like makes you happy. And happy people aren't aggressive, normally. Without aggression, there wouldn't be wars.
Goosh, I wish it was easy like that, actually. But still I believe that it's good to have a thing like a pineapple (or anything else, but pineapples are great), which reminds us every now and then to not be too naughty and mean and angry and such, but instead be forgiving and loving. I'm not religious at all, but I believe that the principle of the grace of charity, which should be brought to us by the church, but actually isn't, because they are too occupied with telling people they will go to hell and such and doing holy wars... well, where did I stop? Ahyes, the grace of charity. That's something true and worth to believe in, in my humble opinion.
So, instead of making dumb, meaningless promises to yourself on New Year's Eve, think of the not so lucky people on earth, and give some love and understanding.
Have a good year 2009,
love you all,
Alita, Dabapple's Mom and Dab's sincere lover
