Just a quick stop-in-and-type to tell you HAPPY CHRISTMAS.
Also, my little litapple looks so sad and lonely I was thinking of adding some more little children to the garden, a little farm of them would be delicious don't you think?
I've been listening to a lot of music lately, check out Radiohead, and Travis, I love those bands (Radiohead the most of course)
I should also inform you that my phone has stopped working which means no little pictures anymore, at least until I mail it in and get it repaired. OR I could always just get some batteries for my actual camera and stop messing around but since I spilled pineapple juice on the SD card reader, I'll have to get a usb card reader... what a proccess.

Christmas greetings.
Hi Folks,
this will be the last post before christmas. I won't be at home for some days, visiting my family and my boyfriend's family, giving & getting presents, eating too much and of course, missing my Dabapple for some days. But eventually I will be back home someday and everything will be fine.
First off, something sweet a friend showed to me. It's a t-shirt from one of my favourite bands/artists, you might have noticed a picture of me with another shirt from her (it's my avatar, check it out). Buuuut... this one's with a pineapple on it. As if she knew Dab and me :O
So, visit her myspace site, she's the gorgeous Amanda Palmer.
And here's the shirt. It's a guy with a pineapple in his hands. That's rad. Don't argue. It is.
Did you ever wonder if there's a secret to the successful growth of a pineapple? Now is the day to answer your question: Yes, there is. This is what I feed my pineapple:

No no, just kidding, hehe. But I made those today for christmas. Gorgeous cookies, believe me. And, I have to confess... I'm too lazy to translate a cookie recipe for you today. Which means you have to drool at those cookies (they are called Ischler, by the way) and won't get anything to make yourself. Yes, pineapple mothers can be mean, cruel monsters ^^.
That's it for now, I will most probably come up with the next post in the next year ^^
Dabapple and me wish you a very merry christmas and a happy new year and hope to hear from you all again ^^

Time for something educational.
Hello guys,
been a while since i last posted, I'm really sorry for that.
I decided not to just give you a picture of my baby, but today inform you about the goods and bads of pineapples.
Well... as they don't have any bads... it'll be only the goods :)
The pineapple, Ananas comosus, is a very pretty plant. The German (and Latin name) Ananas originates in the Guarani word for it, which is nanĂ¡.
Pineapples are not only beautiful and lovable cause of their looks, but also they are very healthy. They contain a lot of vitamins and minerals, but also enzymes like bromelain, which is used in some medicines.
100g (3.5oz) pineapple covers about 60% of the recommended amount of vitamin C one should get. Nicy, eh?
So, what we learned today is: eat more pineapples, because they are healthy. Yay!
By the way, Dabapple is all fine, but right now I'm far too lazy to take a picture and post it. You will get one with the next post, I guess.
I'll try to post more frequently in the future. Really. I've felt bad all that time I didn't post.
So... I think next post will be definitely before christmas. Maybe I'll contain a recipe, in order to help you have a healthy holiday ^^
Best wishes,
Alita

just a few things
I'm thinking a lot about pineapple recently...
Anyone have any good pineapply jokes? Hmm... seems I haven't ever heard one of those.
Hey guys if you are bored check out http://www.youtube.com/user/tokyocooney
This guy is really clever, and I dunno, I never got bored of any of his posts, all good~ of course it helps if you are even remotely interested in life in Tokyo because that is what it's about. This guy has been living there for some years, moved from New York and lives in a very crummy little apartment with his awesome fish. Anyway it's really good to get a look around Japan and see life as a foreigner (at least when a foreigner is just playing and not working, he does not show much of him working)
Well I can't think what more to post here for now, perhaps I will think up a little Pineapple story to post some day soon.

Kidnapped, held for ransom... replaced T_T
So,
My English teacher would FLIP out at me if he saw that I just started this blog entry with "So," he really hated the word so... hmm *waves* Hi Mr. Sanderson, hope things are good with the wife and your son *smiles brightly*
You may have noticed the last time I posted was August 30th shortly after that post my beloved and most treasured Litapple was taken from me. I received the following.
INSERT NOTE HERE
yeah.. I dont have a pic of it yet shh
I have since needed much time to recover from what ensued, in short ~~ she was taken away from us ladies and gentlemen ~~ never to be seen or heard of again, many tears have been shed however; today is a day to rejoice, to move on, to learn to love again.

Mah cup...she was empty and viola! She is full again looooook <3333
<---- Here you can see the new roots growing, very strong looking ones...or rather you could see if I had a camera that didn't suck I suppose this phone camera has to be replaced?
<---- Here you can see mold forming on the leaves that were exposed to too much water, remember kids, pineapples grow in climats where very little water falls each year pla
ces like Hawaii
It's okay though, you just pull that crud off and then go get yerself a nice mug-o-coffee and start planning your next move... new home... yeah...
*cough*
lets take a look at the process of coffee shall we?
yeah..

Coffee is good for times when you have to make decisions and you long ago learned that you are quite incabable of doing so? Yeah... good for those times...
ooooh yeah
*cough*
what? O_O

So having known my Dad as long as I have and knowing the people who frequent this house and often shop here...
I didn't bother to look for a shovel 0r spade or whatever, I just went straight for the kitchen utensils... I mean, no one ever cooks here just me and I don't care if i have to clean a little dust off a BBQ spatula that gets used 2 times a year so I dug a little hole and planted this bad girl ;)

Hmm maybe this pic should be up there and that pic down here I don't know... I don't care, just pretend I put them in the right spots okay? ^_^"
Well once again I have made an enormous post, let it be known that a new Litapple has taken place in our lovely garden... It shall grow and be loved, and transplanted when I move.
By the way David, congratulations, you are a Daddy!!
I'll try to get a post up before hand but just in case I dont, I want to wish our small collection of readers a very happy Christmas, hope you find a way to feel good, and uh... get all the crap you wish for this year... selfish buggers...
*cough*
sorry...
can I go back to bed now? yeah? kay...cya
